The Scan4000 is the only self - contained device that includes a high performance ridge recognition algorithm coupled with a fully programmable microprocessor, providing accuracy unparalleled in the industry. The Scan4000 emphasizes user - friendliness with a 32 - large character display, 12 - digit keypad, visual and audible indicators, and maintenance free operations. The Scan4000 is a high - capacity device storing extensive transaction logs and many thousands of fingerprint templates.

The Scan4000 is fast, compact, and connects directly to existing Access Control or Time & Attendance Systems through standard communication ports. The Scan4000 supports an extensive list of peripherals including proximity card, magnetic card, smart card and bar code devices. The Scan4000 is an easy way to add enhanced security to existing systems. A variety of operating modes including Standard, Two-Person, High Security and Time & Attendance ensures a good match to your application. The Ridge Recognition software captures a full two dimensional image of a finger and stores it as a template to verify a finger's unique ridge pattern. Unaffected by day-to-day fingerprint variations such as cuts, swelling and dirt, the Ridge Recognition sets the industry standard for accuracy, performance and security.
