Not all labelling requirements can be met with a Take-from-Stock product. Many customers require custom label sizes, configurations, or multi-color printing. Intermec has produced a wide variety of custom labels and tags designed to meet customer-specific requirements.

Labels
A stocked, coated thermal transfer product which exhibits excellent
print quality. Recommended when moderate abrasion, heat, or sunlight are
present. General purpose, shipping/ receiving, warehousing WIP,
inventory control. Duratran II is also available with specialty
adhesives. Available in tag construction. Limited outdoor exposure.
A high-gloss, top-coated polyester label which exhibits excellent print
quality. Good tear-, smear-, and abrasion resistance; moisture and heat
resistance. Available in 2 and 4 mil label stock. Product marking,
hazardous material labeling, steel mill product tracking, automotive.
Also available with specialty adhesive and tag stock. Specialized gloss
polyesters are UL/CSA agency recognized. 4 mil gloss polyester, only, is
approved for use in self-strip applications.
Ribbons
A general-purpose wax ribbon specifically engineered for use with coated
or uncoated papers.
A general-purpose, smear-resistant wax ribbon specifically engineered
for use with coated papers and some synthetics.
A wax/resin ribbon that provides more abrasion-/smear-resistance and
high-image quality when used with coated papers and some synthetics.
A high-quality, resin-based ribbon that provides the optimum level of smear- and abrasion-resistance. Use with super premium material.
